USAID/INDONESIA Internship Program (Period 2: October 2015-January 2016)

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Indonesia is offering a four-month internship on a tri-annual basis for UGM master students to be assigned at the USAID/Indonesia offices. Selection and recruitment the candidate for 2nd tri-annual internship will be conducted in August 2015 focused on TB program, thus the deadline of application period is August 13, 2015. Specifically, the interns are expected to review data and information on concepts, regulations, plans and programs, policies and strategies related to the Health Office technical areas including TB and provide comments and inputs for program improvement. The Intern will assist the Health Office Director and Staff, and works within the administrative and data quality area. The intern may also be participating in site visits, workshops or other related tasks.

USAID is also supporting a community mobilization to improve access to TB services (called CEPAT program) by providing grants to local NGOs: Lembaga Kesehatan Nahdratul Ulama (LKNU), Jaringan Kesejahteraan/Kesehatan Masyarakat (JKM) and Roman Catholic Diocese (RCD). Related link:

 

Pay and Benefits:
USAID pays stipend IDR 13,200,000/months to cover meals, local transportation, and incidentals for an 8 hour work per day or 40 hour work week. USAID’s extensive development literature and access to other technical offices will be available. Applicants must have their own insurance, transportation, housing, and telecommunication gadget.
