Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing Universitas Gadjah Mada (FK-KMK UGM) encourages active partnership and sustainable collaborations to support strengthening of education, research, and community service that contribute to increase community health status. Collaboration with national and international strategic partners is linked to benchmark to the leading institutions and to the world class program is aimed to support the distance learning and transdisciplinary programs. It is also on the same page with our strategic policy of excellence transdisciplinary development by empowering strategic partnerships with alumni, stakeholder, philanthropist, and the community.  All these initiatives are reflected in our milestones, a strategic partnership as the development of distance learning programs and downstream innovations of transdisciplinary research, which simultaneously synergize strategic partnerships within the AHS networking.

Building synergies with strategic collaborators through various activities of capacity building including optimizing the online capacity programs, our international partnerships create ample opportunities for students and staff exchange, research collaboration, academic transfer, clinical and community service, as well as development of international program, double-degree and sandwich program at undergraduate and graduate level.  Currently, we have expanded collaborations in all the regions as shown in the map of international partnership. At the national level, FKKMK UGM is the founding member in a national network on Indonesia Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Medicine (ICE-EBM), Health Promoting University (HPU) , Academic Health System (AHS UGM) and as a leader in an Inter-University Consortium on Global Health (IUCGH).

These national and international collaboration network contribute to international atmosphere to enhance academic life through academic exchange and joint transdisciplinary research. Our faculty welcomes world-class professors and reputable experts from various interests and expertise for jointly organizing continuing professional development (CME) and discussions on various topics.
