FK-KMK UGM.  Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing Universitas Gadjah Mada hosted the second “Jogja International Cardiovascular Topic Series (JINCARTOS)” symposium with the theme Cardiovascular Topic Series.  “Through this forum we expect that we can share knowledge or opportunity of new research. Heart disease still being a threat to Indonesia. Taking care of health and vitality by not smoking, avoid stress, having good nutrition and increasing physical activity become a good way to reduce the risk of heart disease. Healthy lifestyle is important,” said The Dean of FK-KMK UGM, Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., Thursday (6/9) while opens the symposium event at the Auditorium.

The chairman of JINCARTOS 2018, Prof. Dr. dr. Budi Yuli Setianto, SpPD(K)., SpJP(K) particularly said that this full-day symposium presenting some outstanding speakers from prominent partner institutions such as Kobe University Japan, National Heart Center Singapore (NHCS), Institute Jantung Negara (IJN) Malaysia. This symposium is divided into 2 session, the first session will discuss about “Stable Coronary Artery Disease: the Plaque”. Whereas, the second session will more focus on “Acute Coronary Syndrome: the Plug”. Beside the presentation activity, JINCARTOS 2018 also organize an outdoor poster exhibition in Auditorium of FK-KMK UGM.  (Wiwin\interpreted by Alif)
