Active partnership and strong collaborations are important tasks of FKKMK UGM to help achieving good progress in education, research, and community service. Collaboration with national partners has been mostly linked with teaching program, particularly the undergraduate program in medicine and graduate program on residency training. The faculty is grateful for the collaboration with the main teaching hospitals: RSUP Dr Sardjito; RSUD Banyumas; RSUP Dr Soeradji Tirtonegoro and more than 40 affiliated hospitals and sizable number of health institutions such as the Provincial District Health Office (Dinkes) and primary health centers (Puskesmas). With special mission to support the government’s mission to have equal distribution of specialists around the country, FKKMK UGM also participates by continuously sending senior residents to remote hospitals.
Our international partnerships create ample opportunities for students and staff exchange, research collaboration, community service, as well as development of international program, double-degree and sandwich program at undergraduate and graduate level. Currently, we have expanded collaborations in all the regions as shown in the map of international partnership.
