Seeing the importance of the strategic role of the Faculty of Medicine with the Health Management Policy Center (PKMK) incorporated in the Leadership Working Group held a seminar on “Leadership in Finance and Accounting Manager Quality Improvement and Cost Control in the Hospital”, on Tuesday (7/3) in meeting rooms senate building 2nd floor Auditorium of Faculty of Medicine. The event was attended by more than 100 participants among directors and hospital managers, accounting staff and finance the hospital, hospital teams fare as well as some of the students have speakers from PERSI chairman, dr. Kuntjoro A. Purjanto, Kes., Author of “Unit Cost Accounting System Hospitals” and “Hospital Management System”, Drs. Johny Setiawan, Akt., MBA., And PKMK Director, Dr. dr. Andreasta Meliala, Kes., MAS with panelists Prof. Indra Bastian, PhD., MBA., CA., CMA.

Social Security Agency (BPJS) as the “payer” has determined the need for quantity and quality of health services is standardized with costs under control. On this occasion, dr. Kuntjoro provide a preliminary understanding by presenting material financial management of hospitals in JKN era. As for the material development of hospital financial management system in the era of JKN presented by Drs. Johny Setiawan.

The event was held in a series of activities agenda Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) Faculty of Medicine in 2017 aims to: first, mainstream leadership of the hospital financial managers in an effort to improve the quality and cost control of health care in hospitals. Second, identify the role and function of the financial manager in carrying out quality control and cost control in hospitals in the context of hospital care in the era urmah JKN. As well as the third goal is to explore the importance of certification of hospital financial managers to maintain the credibility of the financial manager of the hospital.

Through this leadership seminar is expected participants will be able to get a good understanding of the roles and functions of hospital strategic financial manager.
