I. Regular Program
In the 1992/1993 academic year, the Faculty began to implement the new curriculum of medical education based Education Core Curriculum Indonesian Doctors Association (KIPDI) strategy PBL (Problem-Based Learning) is a learning based problem.
Next start of the academic year 2003/2004, the Faculty started implementing the curriculum is integrated into 21 blocks with PBL learning strategy. The purpose of medical education is to educate students through the learning process by completing a curriculum so as to have sufficient knowledge, skills and attitude to perform medical profession dala a service system in accordance with the general policy of the government is based on Pancasila.
Stages Class:
1. Bachelor of Education program (PPS)
– Older studies 3.5 years
– The study load 156 credits including a thesis
– Graduates are given a Bachelor of Medicine (S.Ked)
2. Program Clerk’s Clinic (PKK)
– Older studies two years after graduating Bachelor of Education Program
– Study Load 35 credits
– Graduates are given the title of doctor (dr)
3. Internship program
Faculty organizes internship program for the department of doctors starting in October 2009 for two months. The program for the new doctor graduates and aims to provide opportunities to practice as a doctor in the clinic and in the hospital type C or D. Graduates received certificates have followed internship.
II. International program
In international programs, lectures held using English as the language of instruction. Similarly, international program curriculum has been designed in the medical curriculum of five years with an additional one or two years to run the program Intership at the hospital. International school applicants are selected through tests of cognitive, non-cognitive and English competency test organized by the Faculty cooperate with IIEF (Indonesian International Education Foundation) in Jakarta.
