A Joint Project Proposal for the Programme of Cooperation in Teaching, Research and Clinical Training between the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS Medicine) and the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).
This programme will build the capacity of UGM staffs to help improve health care of Indonesia’s people, establish a network for management of common diseases like breast cancer, heart disease and emerging infectious diseases, and contribute to good relations between Indonesia and Singapore.
Tahir NUS-UGM Collaboration in Medicine Programme covers education and research, consist of:
- Clinical attachments in NUS Medicine for UGM doctors and nurses
Provide clinical attachments in NUS Medicine for up to 1 month duration. The doctors and nurses would get hands-off training to learn new approaches and methodologies as part of capacity building and skills transfer.
Criteria for applicants:
Have a clinical background, both UGM Staff/lecturer and staff who are undergoing clinical specialty education
Enclose CV, and complete the application form (see template a)
Enclose certificate of TOEFL/IELTS/ AcEPT UGM or enclose your article published on international journal (as the first or second author)
Enclose motivation letter explaining a plan of your activities or skills that you would like to learn during clinical attachments
Enclose letter of recommendation/permission from Head of Department
- Kandidat bergelar minimal Doktor/PhD, dan diutamakan berasal dari universitas mitra UGM (ada MOU level u to u)
- Kandidat memiliki track record publikasi internasional, ditentukan melalui h-index scopus
- Durasi kunjungan ke FK UGM 1 – 2 minggu
- Aktivitas kunjungan meliputi
- Kewajiban memberikan kuliah tamu (lintas prodi)
- Program pilihan (minimal 1)
a. Pendampingan penyusunan joint research proposal (misal NIH, NCI, DIPI dll)
b. Pendampingan penyusunan research proposal (misal Damas, UGM, Ristekdikti)
c. Pendampingan klinis (Mentoring/TOT)
d. Pendampingan penulisan manuskrip Internasional

FK UGM and TMU are going to organize ‘open interview’ on Wednesday, 15th of February 2017 at KPTU Building, 2nd floor FK UGM. There are 2 programs available for those interested in pursuing Master/PhD Program at TMU (Taipei Medical University), as follows
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Indonesia is offering a four-month internship on a tri-annual basis for UGM master students to be assigned at the USAID/Indonesia offices. Selection and recruitment the candidate for 2nd tri-annual internship will be conducted in October 2015 focused on HIV, EPT 2, NTD program, thus the deadline of application period is October 28, 2015. Specifically, the interns are expected to review data and information on concepts, regulations, plans and programs, policies and strategies related to the Health Office technical areas including HIV, EPT 2, NTD and provide comments and inputs for program improvement. The Intern will assist the Health Office Director and Staff, and works within the administrative and data quality area. The intern may also be participating in site visits, workshops or other related tasks.
